Biography
Priyandeep Kakoti is a former journalist, entrepreneur, and grassroots worker with a strong commitment to nationalism, deeply inspired by the BJP's “Nation First” ideology. Firmly believing in India's potential to emerge as a Vishwaguru, he has devoted himself to driving meaningful change through both enterprise and social action.
An award-winning journalist from Assam, he is the recipient of the Prahlad Gowala Memorial State Bravery Journalism Award, which recognizes his fearless reporting and deep engagement with social issues. Over the years, he has actively worked at the ground level in political and social spheres—strengthening democracy through impartial journalism, mobilizing youth, supporting public welfare initiatives, and promoting the ideals of self-reliance and development.
Leadership to me means action with purpose - and I lead by example. While standing with the people during times of need, I strive to be a catalyst for positive change. I see politics not just as a platform for power, but as a responsibility to serve and build a stronger, self-reliant Bharat.

Kamargaon journalists' body launches Technical Sunday School for skill development
The Kamargaon Regional Journalists' Association of Bokakhat sub-division has, from time to time, undertaken many programmes to help students as well as unemployed youths become self-reliant. On 18 August 2025, it launched a Technical Sunday School to offer free multi-skill training and life skills to economically disadvantaged students and women.
Xojal Kutir, a private museum, completes two years
Xojal Kutir, a private museum initiative by senior journalist and social activist Priyangdeep Kakoti, recently completed two years of preserving Assamese rural culture. A commemorative ceremony in Numaligarh highlighted cultural programmes, community participation, and recognition of contributors from music, arts, and social fields.
Journalist honoured by Regional Development Committee
The Regional Development Committee felicitated a journalist in recognition of contributions to journalism and community development. The programme was reported in The Dainik Janambhumi and held in Jorhat, reflecting appreciation for grassroots media work.
